It looks like a semi precious stone. Its cold, sleek, polished. Up close, it is multi-veined with intricate pockets of fractured detail; islands of colour appearing to float upon a background of burnished silver. However, it is not a precious stone. It is dinosaur bone, preserved and fossilised over 140 million years.
